times, the Roland EGX-600 and EGX-400 benchtop engraver and CNC mills
are the next step. The Roland EGX-600 and EGX-400 engravers and CNC mills
can
cut plastics, timber, wax as well as light metals such as aluminium and
brass at faster speeds.
Products and Prototypes
Badges, signage, prototypes and artistic reliefs can be produced
on the EGX-400 and EGX-600. Using the included software, photographs
can be automatically converted into 3D reliefs.
For education projects,
students at all levels can produce parts, from simple badges to complex
3D models for higher education needs. The faster cutting speeds means
class sizes of thirty students are not a constraint.
Complete Package
First timers can use the Roland EGX-600 and EGX-400 with ease due to the supplied
Roland computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. The step-by-step wizard
guides novice users through the toolpath creation process. 2D and 3D engraving
software is also included. With the included software, the Roland EGX-400
and EGX-600 is ready to use straight from the box.
For experienced users, high end engraving and machining software can
also be used with the Roland EGX-400 and EGX-600.
High End Features
Features such as digital servos, feed forward processing to anticipate toolpath
changes and brushless motors serve to reduce maintenance costs, improve efficiency
and accuracy.
Safety & Convenience
A large, conveniently located emergency stop switch enables you to shut down
the machine instantly at the push of a button. The motor cover door includes
a safety switch that prevents the machine’s operation when open

small workspaces and can be placed on a workbench.
Accessories
A range of accessories are available including imperial and metric sized
collets, centre vices, workholding adhesive sheets and vacuum adaptors
