Dr. Picza - 3D Scanning Control

Roland's Dr. Picza software controls the scan functions of the LPX laser, PIX and MDX touch probe series 3D scanners. Its ease of use allows users to be scanning in minutes. Dr. Picza is included with the Roland range of LPX, PIX and MDX series products.

Easy to use
Users define a volume of space to scan, and how detailed to scan that area. With only a few button clicks, the scanner is ready to start. Instructions are included to guide you through your first scan. Once you have scanned a few items, start altering the settings to see the different scan results.

Flexibility
Dr Picza allows you to do a quick overall scan, then rescan only those areas that require more detail. This saves you time without compromising your scan data needs.

Compatibility
Scan data can be cleaned and edited before exporting to a number of industry standard file formats. All the major files formats are supported, even polygon and NURBS surface files. File export formats include DXF, VRML, STL, 3DMF, IGES, Grayscale, Point Group and BMP. Operating systems supported include Windows® 95/98/Me/NT® 4.0/2000/XP.
