Behind the Scenes of Narnia - Voyage of the Dawn TreaderQubic worked with 3D scanning service provider WYSIWYG 3D to scan all the actors, props and some sets for the Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie, filmed on the Gold Coast. Artec and Minolta scanners were used for full body scans of all actors and costumes and some props, including hairy costumes, while the Surphaser was used to scan some sets and the actual Dawn Treader ship itself. Qubic Supports Australian Film,Television & Radio School Student's Award Winning FilmQubic provided services to AFTRS students making the film Plastic. Full body scans and high resolution scans of the head, feet and hands were achieved with a Minolta 910 3D laser scanner. WYSIWYG 3D provided services to process the scan data using Geomagic software.
